12 October 2009 Chaos
At the moment I am looking at how artists paint chaos.
Let me explain, in trying to do paintings of landscapes, sometimesparts of the scene are just chaos, a busy hedgerow, a newly ploughedfield, it would be impossible to pull out each leaf and stone and so I am trying to find a way of painting chaos.
Its true in our lives also, at times they are in chaos, and there is noway we can control all the spinning plates. This used to really upset meas I quite like to be organised, but I have learned that sometimes wehave to operate in chaos and all we can do is offer that up to God.
"For now we see in a mirror dimly, but then we will see face toface. Now I know only in part;then I will know fully, even as I havebeen fully known."
1 Corinthians 13 vs 12
