I have the most beautiful vase of delhias sitting on my kitchen tablethat were brought to me from a local garden and which I have beenadmiring since I was given them.

The colour is a deep magenta, a wonderful bright pink which lights upthe rest of a rather dark room, and I have been desperate to paintthem. So today I have taken out my brushes and set up experimentingwith different colours and perhaps because of my inadequacies, I cannotmix just the right colour.

Yesterday I had a lovely day shopping with my eldest daughter forclothes and watching as she tried on outfits that I would never havechosen for her but which look great on her, and which are entirelydifferent from the outfit we later chose for her sister.

These two rather disparate points have been running around my headtoday, because for me they emphasis how unique creation is, the coloursof our plants the personalities of our children, each is beautifullymade and each is different created by a loving God who took the timeand effort to make this world and everything in it quite quite perfect.
