During yesterday's church service I heard the words "steadfast in faith and active in service."What a way to start the week, what a goal for the days ahead.
The week ahead will have its challenges for each of us, how do we deal with grumpy teenagers?,
How do we handle the coffee break when everyone wants to gossip?How do we help the friend who is struggling in their relationship?
In every situation we will always have the pull of what the world says and what how Jesus would guide us, and it isn't easy always to be true to our faith.

 As for active in service sometimes we are just too busy to fit it all in, and our priorities get a little muddled.
But it is the start of  a whole new week, a chance to begin again and do things differently and so I will keep these words close by me for the next few days as a reminder of what is important and just maybe I'll keep to it....at least until Tuesday?
