Over the last few weeks I have had the joy and priviledge to see some beautiful scenery. The towering Blue Mountains of the Appalatians, the peacefulness turquoise green of the salt marshes in South Carolina , the Atlantic Ocean in all its moods, warm and inviting transformed to powerful and dangerous by the passing of Hurricane Bill, and  the golden fields and berry laden trees surrounding us as we come home.

How vast and varied is God's creation, he has made a beautiful world which sometimes in our busyness we don't see. One of the blessings of a holiday is the chance to take time and enjoy this beauty wherever we are,  it would be even better for us to take the time everyday to see the beauty around us and give thanks.
