31 July 2009 Simple words
Sometime we can overcomplicate our faith, and become bogged down indoctrine and theology, but really Jesus' teachings and Paul's messages were for simple people to show them a way to live a better life with God at the centre.
As I leave on holiday for three weeks I wanted to share Paul's wonderful words again, for what could be a better recipe for us to liveby.
"Love must be sincere. Hate what is evil;cling to what is good. Be devoted to one another in brotherly love.Honour one another above yourselves.Never be lacking in zeal, but keep your spiritual fervour, serving the Lord. Be joyful in hope, patient in affliction, faithful in prayer.Share with God's people who are in need.Practice hospitality."
Romans 12 vs9-13
