More on signs.

It seems that even when God has given signs in the past people have still wanted more proof, and never seem to be satisfied. I was reading John's gospel today where Jesus explains to the crowd
"What God wants you to do is believe in the one he sent", in response the crowd ask for a miracle but this is after he has fed the five thousand and walked on water- what more proof do they need.

I am sure that even if we were given absolute proof some would still not believe, and so God has chosen to let us decide and to enable us to have faith in that which we cannot see.

Steve Chalke in his book Apprentice sums it up as follows
"God leaves us space to make our own decisions and choices.He leaves the door open, but it is up to us whether or not we venture through."
