Over the last week I have been looking at plants differently. Not just to see their beauty but to consider their design and the purpose of it, and it is amazing, the spikes for protection, the hooks to catch onto animals to spread the seed, the colours to attract pollinators, the leaf shape to repel or conserve moisture.

Each one perfectly designed to ensure its survival and as if that were not enough they are beautiful. If ever I need to be reminded that we have been created by a loving God this is it for me.

How sad that we spend so much time finding fault with ourselves, we are wonderfully and beautifully made and to him be the glory.
